At Thenergy, we work towards a sustainable future. By implementing innovative and responsible practices, we strive for a better world for future generations. This means, among other things, that we collaborate with like-minded partners in the supply chain to improve the sustainability of sourced raw materials.
Thenergy focuses on trading products which cannot be used for food or feed purposes, including by-products and residues from other industrial processes. These materials are used in sectors such as biogas production, helping to maximize resource efficiency, reduce waste and prevent using products which can be used for food or feed. Our supply chain knowledge enables us to identify and verify the origin and classification of these materials, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and contributing to a circular economy.

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil
In collaboration with logistics provider Zijderlaan we are choosing HVO for all transport carried out via Zijderlaan, on a mass balance basis. Made from renewable resources, HVO100 offers an alternative to traditional fossil fuels. This marks a significant step towards a more sustainable logistics chain.

Thenergy is certified under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC EU) scheme. This certification confirms that our bioenergy practices meet environmental and traceability standards. You can find Thenergy’s ISCC EU certificate in the ISCC database on their website.
VIHB & OVAM Registration
VIHB & OVAM Registration
Thenergy complies with the legal requirements for the transport, collection, trading, and mediation of commercial and hazardous waste in both the Netherlands and Flanders, Belgium. With VIHB registration, we aim to contribute to responsible and sustainable waste management. We strive to collect, transport, and process waste in an environmentally friendly manner, helping to minimize environmental impact and promote recycling and reuse of materials.

Naturally, the involvement of our partners is crucial in this process. Therefore, we hope that more
partners will embrace our initiative to achieve maximum supply chain integrity and monitor sustainable
raw material flows.
